| "dont bother to argue with me. its so close to an f1 car...its scary" No, it's not. It might be one of, if not THE most capable road-going sports cars in history...but an F1 car, it is not. ~Twice as heavy, half the power (less than that by 1987 standards). Of course that's not the defining factor of a car, but if I were to say that my N/A Z is "close" to a TTZ (whose power-to-weight ratios are approx 1.35 to one another, as opposed to ~4:1 for F1:F40), people would disagree with me regardless of any else that's special about my car. In all around comparison, the McLaren F1 car is the one road-car that's closest to an F1 car not only because of the unholy engine in back but because it had a mid-mounted driver's seat. It was also designed by Gordon Murray, who used to head up the actual McLaren F1 design team during part of the 80's. So to reiterate, it's a great car, but not an F1 car.
